Meet Kathryn, or Katie as she likes to be called. Katie is a singer, musician, voice teacher who also teaches piano…and is currently pursuing her PhD in the University of Cincinnati. Above it all, what impressed me most was her reply to my “What’s Your Favorite Quote” question during the consultation session. She wrote, “Bible verses of Matthew 25: 35-40 – kind of sums up one of the major purposes of life for me, to take care of each other.”

Beautiful, talented, hard working, smart and has a heart for the Lord – how much more perfect can a young woman be?

“35 For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. 36 I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.’ 37 “Then these righteous ones will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry and feed you? Or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 Or a stranger and show you hospitality? Or naked and give you clothing? 39 When did we ever see you sick or in prison, and visit you?’ 40 And the King will tell them, ‘I assure you, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!'”

In July, Sara and Nicole had approached me for their business head shots earlier and I just felt that the usual head shots do not justify the beauty industry that they represent. I presented this new Sue Bryce inspired contemporary glamor genre that I’ve been yearning to add on to my photography services and they were sold on it.

Therefore, I am very happy and proud to present the Contemporary Glamor Portraits that I am adding to my photography services. And I am even more proud to announce that I am also collaborating with the best salon, Odyssey Full Service Salon located here in Versailles, IN.  The seven ladies – Sara, Jaime, Nicole (my gorgeous stylist!), Taylor, Staci, Joyce and Debbie had so much fun that they want to do it every month! That’s a great compliment indeed!

What I want to achieve with this new Contemporary Glamor Portraits is to help everyday women who gives so much of themselves an opportunity to see and feel how beautiful they truly are…on the outside, befitting the inner beauty. Every woman deserves to have beautiful portraits as a constant reminder of their own beauty. Don’t wait any longer, contact me and book your session today!

Jennifer Beitchman - Great pictures! I especially love the woman with the blue hair! You go, girl!!!!

I had the pleasure and honor to second shoot Scott and Chelsea’s wedding in Cleveland recently with Susan. It was a small and very intimate wedding, witnessed by close family members, relatives and kindred friends. They came to celebrate the union of two best friends who’ve been through thick and thin, sweat, tears and have the utmost love for each other. It was a fun and emotion-filled day and very, very unique in oh so many ways and then some. And oh, I finally get to shoot a tattooed bride!

The day started with hair and make-up at Ladies & Gentlemen Salon & Spa in Mentor, OH. It took a bit of coaxing before fuss-free Chelsea agreed to get a bit of make-up done…

Isn’t she pretty?

Thereafter, we headed to Scott’s house where the bride & groom, as well as the Best Lady, Laura, got ready. Below is Scott’s father’s beautiful collection of bottles and containers bearing the family name – Jewell.

The ceremony was held at Squire’s Castle in Willoughby Hills, OH. We couldn’t pray the rain away, so the chairs had to be moved inside the castle. As it a shell castle, the light was still beautiful and everyone was kept somewhat dry.

Grandma arrived just in the nick of time.

The couple shared their heartfelt stories about how far they’ve grown stronger in their friendship and love for each other, amidst lots of hardships and unexpected life events.

And it’s finally official!

Their “getaway” car – a colorful and fun VW! How cool is that?!?

This circus tent cake was baked and decorated by Scott’s sister, Jessica.

Best Lady, Laura’s message to the B&G.

It continued to pour throughout the night, but the party is still ON!

Andrea LaGrow - These are absolutely gorgeous! They look like a very unique couple, and they chose to show that on their day. You were able to capture the magic of their day perfectly and I’m sure they will treasure these images forever. I don’t know who that man is that you captured by himself that you placed above the words “and it’s official”, but the emotion on his face is clear – and it’s one of my favorites from the whole lot. Love it!

  • 22 Jun ’13 - 12:23 AM

Fong - They are a very “comfortable-in-their-own-skin” couple I’ve met and that awesome for their young age. The man you were referring to is the groom’s father. And the words, “It’s finally official” was meant for the kissing scene below it. 🙂

  • 22 Jun ’13 - 7:44 AM

Amber - I adore the ceremony location!! What a fun couple!
